Areas of Expertise

Creative Psychotherapy

I am an HCPC registered integrative arts psychotherapist. I work privately for individual patients, groups and corporate clients. I also work for the NHS with complex cases. Working integratively means I can blend psychodymanic modalities with person-centred beliefs and utilise theory and disciplines ranging from attachment, object relations, internal family systems, Gestalt and Mentalization. This integration promises a truly unique therapy that is tailored to allow you to feel comfortable and safe.

Online Therapy

I understand how busy life can get, which is why I offer online therapy sessions for your convenience. Online sessions are just as effective as face-to-face sessions and can be done from the comfort of your own home.

Out of Hours Appointments

I know that it can be difficult to find time for therapy during regular business hours. That's why I offer out of hours appointments to fit your schedule. I want to make sure that everyone has access to the therapy they need to live their best life.

My Approach

Working with objects, be that an image you have created, the lyrics from your favourite song, objects from around your house or something you have made, can open up the mind to exploring deep issues that may not be easy to talk about initially. It can reveal thoughts and deep feelings that you might have had trouble accessing before and can trigger memories that have been buried for years. Working with objects or images also acts as a gentler means to examine deep trauma or feelings of shame, loss, anger and abandonment.
